History In Place

The History in Place program encourages students from primary school to visit a local heritage site and produce their own documentary video about a subject that inspires them.

Students visited some of the National Trust’s most significant regional heritage sites including Endeavour Fern Gully, Mulberry Hill, Gulf Station and the Portable Iron Houses in South Melbourne.

Students from Baxter Creek Primary School, Dixons Creek Primary School, Koroit Creek Primary School, Red Hill Consolidated Primary School and Yarra Glen Primary School took part in the program.

This program was supported by Arts Victoria and delivered by Sarah Rood and Lucy Bracey, historians from Way Back When.
