The National Trust (NSW) is developing a suite of new curriculum-aligned education programs that will inspire and guide young people to protect and preserve Australia’s natural, cultural and built heritage.

“Education is our one chance to share our passion for Australia’s unique natural, Indigenous and cultural history with those who will follow us.”
– Brian Powyer, President, National Trust (NSW)

This year the National Trust (NSW) is working to enhance and broaden our existing education programs to meet modern curriculum requirements and to use our places to explore contemporary issues that are relevant to the youth today. To do this, we need your help to fund the appointment of an education expert who will design and develop programming and materials over the course of the next year.

We need $110,000 to make that happen – and thanks to the generosity of our supporters who want to invest in the heritage education of future generations, we have $33,000. We are asking for your help to reach this goal.

By donating you will contribute to:

  • Appointing an education expert at the National Trust (NSW)
  • Developing partnerships with youth and community organisations
  • The design and development of curriculum-based programming, experiences and materials for students
  • Outreach to schools, youth groups and community organisations to share this knowledge
  • Please remember your donation is tax deductible and will go a long way to building the knowledge and appreciation for new generation to care for and protect our heritage in Australia.

Simply select how much you would like to give and in the drop down menu below labelled ‘I would like my donation to go to’, choose ‘Student Education Program’.
