The History of Liverpool in 60 Objects Exhibition Launch

The City of Liverpool & District Historical Society would like to invite you to the opening of our exhibition ‘The History of Liverpool in 60 Objects’, celebrating the 60th birthday of our society.

We would be very pleased if you would be able to join us to take a journey through Liverpool’s long history. Each object reflects the social development of Liverpool throughout its long timeline. From a convict made brick recovered from the 1830s Sophienburg Estate to an entry token to the Liverpool Memorial Olympic Pool donated by Hammondville resident John Jewell, they each tell their own story of Liverpool’s Government, business, sporting, religious and social institutions.
