Part of the 2019 Heritage Festival, this is an ideal social outing for friends and family and is bound to be a delight!

In the early decades of the colony, contacts with India were a key to the developing economy. Sugar, spices, textiles and Bengal rum were all vital imports – with rum even becoming a de facto currency.

Join us by candlelight as we investigate Elizabeth Farm’s early contacts with India. Then pound sugar in the kitchen, rasp lemons, and make and taste a Regency rum punch. Huzzah!
