Royal Randwick Racecourse Heritage Collection Tour

Get up close and personal with an historical collection stretching back to the 1880s. Come on a tour of the ATC Heritage Centre at Randwick Racecourse where we show off prize items in our collection, and take you behind-the-scenes.

The free tour of the ATC Heritage Centre gives you the opportunity to find out about the history of racing, how we manage our collection, and how the racecourse itself has been a part of the community for over 150 years. The tour lasts an hour and a half, finishing with tea or coffee and an opportunity to chat with our volunteers, who have been involved in the racing industry for many years. The tour introduces you to the history of the racecourse at Randwick, as well as other racecourses around Sydney that are now managed by the Australian Turf Club. We will provide opportunities for you to see and touch the early history of the club and tell you stories of people involved in those early years. There is plenty of parking at the venue and it is all on the flat. We are excited to show off our history and tell the stories of the place, people, horses, and community.
