Mother’s Day Weekend at Eryldene

Enter Mrs Waterhouse's domain with Eryldene's volunteer guides and housekeepers, and hear about the life of the Waterhouse family, the role Eryldene played in the art, horticulture, architecture, academia of Sydney through much of the twentieth century, and the way Mrs Waterhouse managed it all.

Bring out your best frock, hat and gloves. Bring your grandmother, your mother and mother in law, best friends and children, and enjoy the leisurely pastime of taking tea in the serenity of the beautiful Camellia garden at Eryldene created by Waterhouse between 1914 – 1977. Sit down to embroidered linen, fine china, and home made delicacies reflecting Mrs Waterhouse’s Sunday afternoons ‘At Home’.

The Garden Cafe will not be open, but Mother’s Day Celebratory Tea will be served both days from 11.00am

Cost for Celebratory Tea – $25; $12 children (6-12yrs). Does not include entry.
