Forest Walk Dalrymple Hay

Dalrymple Hay Nature Reserve was established in 1972 as a demonstration forest and subsequently listed as an Endangered Ecological Community. A precious remnant of Blue Gum High Forest.

Dalrymple-Hay NR was originally recommended to be preserved for its historic and botanical values. A strong public campaign resulted in the forest being gazetted as an “Endangered Ecological Community”.
Walk the tracks in this precious remnant of Blue Gum High Forest.
Look for Powerful Owls and other large birds which live in the tall trees
