Back to Patonga

The Patonga Project is hosting a FREE "Back to Patonga" day. from 10am to 2pm, 27th April 2019.
A collection of photographs will be displayed of yester-year Patonga with a guest speaker, the opportunity to scan your old photographs or tell your story.
Catch up with old friends and family.

  • Exhibition of historical photographs of Patonga.
  • Explanation and invitation to participate in the Patonga Project.
  • Guest speaker – local historian and author Julie Aitchison.
  • Forum to answer your questions on history of Patonga.
  • Bring your photographs, memorabilia or stories to share with others.
  • Representatives from local historical and genealogical groups.
  • BBQ to raise funds for restoration of Patonga’s war memorial.
  • Help us with stories and people in our repository of photographs.

The Patonga Project is a group of volunteers aimed at collecting a repository of photographs and stories associated with Patonga so they can be enjoyed by future generations.
